顎関節症とは
顎関節症:顎関節部および隣接する軟部組織に発生する疾患
触診による筋肉や顎関節の痛み、顎関節音、下顎の運動機能障害などがあります[12]。
人口の40%~75%が少なくとも1つの顎関節症の症状を持っていると言われています[13]。
顎関節症の原因は複雑であり、顎関節症と一貫して関連する要因は、他の疼痛疾患(慢性頭痛など) [14] 、睡眠時無呼吸症候群、精神状態(不安、うつなど) [15] 、外傷 [16, 17] などである。咬合因子は、顎関節症に関連する主な原因の1つである可能性があります[18]
